Mezzanines and access platforms are where imposed-load assumptions get quietly optimistic — a storage mezzanine designed for foot traffic, a walkway that was never checked for the pallet truck that now uses it. We ask what actually goes on the platform before designing it, and we design to that rather than to a general-purpose figure.
Handrails, toe boards and staircases are part of the same scope, not an afterthought bolted on later. All of it fabricated across our Nashik plants and erected by us, so the platform arrives as a system rather than as parts to be reconciled on site.

To what you tell us is going on it — that is the whole question. A storage mezzanine, an office mezzanine and a plant maintenance platform are three different load cases and it is not safe to guess between them. Tell us the use, the heaviest thing that will be on the floor and whether a pallet truck or trolley will run on it, and the design follows from that.
Usually, and the constraint is normally the existing floor rather than the mezzanine. The column loads have to go somewhere, so the existing slab and foundation need checking at design stage. Send what you know about the existing construction and we will tell you what needs verifying before anything is fabricated.
Yes — they are part of this scope, not a separate order. A platform delivered without its access and edge protection is not a platform anyone can use, and splitting them across two suppliers is how the interface ends up wrong.
The design basis comes with the tender — the load cases, the governing code and the site conditions are issued with the drawing set and we engineer to what is issued. In India that is normally IS 800 for the steel design, IS 875 Parts 1 to 5 for dead, imposed, wind and snow loads, IS 1893 for seismic, and IS 2062 for the plate and section material. If you want the codes and load assumptions confirmed for a specific enquiry before you shortlist us, ask and we will state them in writing for that scope.
Send the drawing set, the bill of quantities or the tender document. You get back a priced scope and a dated programme against your milestones, and we will tell you plainly if any part of the scope is outside what we manufacture rather than quoting it and buying it in later.
