Service information
The work that decides whether a government project lands on time is rarely the building itself. It is whether the submissions were made in the right format, whether the approval cycle was anticipated, whether the design conflicts were caught on paper, and whether the stage inspections happened when the programme assumed they would.
That is what this service is. It can be contracted on its own. Most of our work is the other shape — managing a project we are also manufacturing for — but the two are separable, and we will tell you which one your enquiry actually needs.

Why Finex
Fabrication, furniture and construction all run from our own two plants, so a department can place one contract and get one drawing set, one schedule and one signature on the handover certificate.

Where our scope starts and stops is fixed in the contract. Most turnkey disputes are interface disputes, and they are cheaper to settle on paper before award than on site after it.
Our ISO certificates are scoped to furniture and we say so on these pages rather than letting a badge imply cover it does not have.

Yes — it is offered as its own scope and is regularly taken that way. It is worth saying that most of our PMC work sits alongside manufacturing we are also doing, so if you want the consultancy genuinely independent of the delivery, say so at enquiry stage and we will confirm in writing that we are not tendering for the works.
A plan prepared at tender stage, revised and approved before execution starts, and then actually used — stage inspections at the points it names, records kept as the work proceeds, and non-conformances closed out rather than carried. A QAP written after award and filed unread is the common failure, and it is visible at handover.
Not by name on this website, and for a reason. Most of our work is for government departments, and naming a buyer needs their written consent — which we are in the process of collecting. If you are evaluating us for a tender today, ask: we will send relevant references, drawings and certificates directly rather than publishing them without permission.
We prepare and issue what the approval requires and carry it through the revision cycle. The approval itself is granted by the department. No consultancy can promise you an outcome that is in someone else’s gift, and one that does is telling you something about how it will handle the rest of the project.
Send the tender document, the bill of quantities or the drawing set. You get back a priced scope against your line items and a dated programme against your milestones, and we will say plainly if any part of the scope sits outside what we deliver rather than quoting it and sub-letting it after award.
A tender number, a specification or a drawing set — we will confirm what we can build and by when, within two working days.
